GeoServer is an open source server for sharing geospatial data. Designed for interoperability, it publishes data from any major spatial data source using open standards.

GeoServer(지오서버)는 지리공간 데이터를 공유하고 편집할 수 있는 Java로 개발된 오픈 소스 GIS 소프트웨어 서버이다.

 

지오서버에서 지도 레이어 (자동차 모양, 포인트 이미지 같은), 도로나 건물 색상 등을 설정할 수 있다.

geoserver에 있는 지도를 불러와서 웹에 표출해서 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

 

예를 들어 프로젝트를 불러왔을 때 기본으로 지정된 맵의 유아이 색상 하나하나를 설정할 수 있는 것이다.

 

db에 shp파일을 올리고 shp파일에 대한 레이어 수정을 geoserver에서 진행하는것!
